Our business model may involve coordination with specialised jewellery manufacturers, artisan workshops, gemstone suppliers, logistics providers and other service providers.

Tarnishing is not automatically considered a manufacturing defect.

9. OEM, ODM & Private Label

OEM, ODM and private-label orders are governed by the agreed commercial specifications and purchase order.

The buyer may be required to approve the final sample or specifications before bulk production.

Production may commence only after required approvals and payment conditions have been completed.

 

10. Buyer-Supplied Designs

Where a buyer provides:

• CAD files

• Sketches

• Photographs

• Samples

• Logos

• Artwork

• Packaging designs

the buyer represents that they have the necessary rights or authorisation to provide such materials for the intended project.

The buyer remains responsible for ensuring that their designs, trademarks and other materials do not infringe third-party rights.

 

11. Intellectual Property

UVA Gems & Jewels retains rights in its own original designs, photographs, branding, website content and proprietary materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Buyer-supplied designs and intellectual property remain subject to the rights and agreements applicable to the buyer.

Specific ownership or exclusivity arrangements for custom designs should be agreed separately in writing where required.

 

12. Sample Approval

For B2B/custom production, approval of a sample may constitute approval of relevant product characteristics.

Buyers should carefully review:

• Size

• Weight

• Gemstone

• Colour

• Finish

• Plating

• Dimensions

• Branding

• Packaging

before approving production.

13. Production Lead Time

For manufacturing orders, estimated production lead time is generally 30–60 days, depending on:

• Product complexity

• Quantity

• Material availability

• Gemstone availability

• Customisation

• Sampling

• Buyer approvals

The specific timeline applicable to an order will be communicated during order confirmation.

 

14. MOQ

The standard MOQ is 50 pieces per design/product, subject to product specifications and production requirements.

Different commercial arrangements may be agreed in writing where applicable.

 

15. Payment

Domestic payment methods may include available online payment methods such as UPI, cards or net banking, depending on the payment facilities available at the time of purchase.

International B2B payments are typically accepted through bank wire transfer (T/T).

Other arrangements may be considered by mutual agreement.

 

16. Taxes

Applicable domestic taxes will be charged according to applicable Indian tax requirements.

International buyers may be responsible for destination-country taxes, duties and import charges unless expressly agreed otherwise.

 

17. Shipping

Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy.

For international B2B orders, shipping may be arranged under mutually agreed Incoterms® such as FOB or CIF.

The applicable Incoterm® and shipment responsibilities will be confirmed in the relevant commercial documentation.

 

18. Returns & Exchanges

Returns and exchanges are governed by the Returns & Exchange Policy.

Customised, personalised, made-to-order, OEM, ODM and private-label products may have different return conditions from standard retail products.

 

19. Jewellery Care

Customers are responsible for following appropriate care instructions.

Damage caused by misuse, chemicals, improper cleaning, impact, improper storage or unauthorised modification may not be covered by applicable return or defect provisions.

 

20. Availability

Products may become unavailable due to:

• Material availability

• Gemstone availability

• Production capacity

• Supplier availability

• Discontinuation

If a paid order cannot be fulfilled, the customer will be contacted regarding an appropriate resolution.

 

21. Website Content

We make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate website information but do not guarantee that every website element will always be complete, current or error-free.

We may correct errors and update information when identified.

26. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be interpreted subject to the laws applicable to the relevant transaction and the applicable laws of India, to the extent legally applicable.

For B2B international transactions, the governing law, jurisdiction and dispute-resolution mechanism may be separately agreed in the relevant commercial contract or purchase order.

 

27. Dispute Resolution

Customers are encouraged to contact UVA Gems & Jewels first to resolve any concern.

For B2B transactions, dispute resolution may be governed by the terms agreed in the applicable commercial agreement or purchase order.
